Thomas Lachin is a multidisciplinary artist whose specialty is illustration. Thomas was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana. Most of his artwork is executed on paper, rendered in ink and colored pencils, and many of his drawings are executed on pre-existing printed materials such as "realistic scenario" police shooting targets. Themes throughout his work include struggle, pride, sociology and social trends, appropriation, national identity, fantasy and competition. Thomas is self-taught and currently resides in Houston, Texas.
